DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES :
We will pick you up at your accommodation and start the tour towards Ouarzazate, crossing the high Atlas Mountains through Tichka pass (2260 m) attitude. On our way we will stop to take some amazing photos from the picks for the berber villages in the massif or the mountains. After the break to visit a local cooperative, we will continue our journey through one of the most beautiful roads of Morocco that will take us, to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the largest and best preserved of Morocco declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the setting for multiple film productions. After lunch we will continue our journey to Dades gorges, we will stop at the palm grove of Skoura to visit a very old Kasbahs 5 centuries (Kasbah Ameridil), then continue to Rose valley stop as well to visit a rose cooperative and if it’s fetvival time mostly between 10 to 20 May every year, we will have a great time to discover the festival and live an entertainment with the Berber folklore. Continue to Dades gorges (Overnight in a hotel in dades gorges)
DAY 2 : DADES GORGES - TODRA OASIS - RISSANI - MERZOUGA :
After breakfast we will continue the route, crossing the valley of the Dades and the towards Tinerhir, small and prosperous population, with a beautiful panorama of contrasts between its pink houses and its palm groves and ideal starting point to enter in the famous Gorges of Todra, where we can stop to enjoy the scenery. Later we will continue south, parallel to the palm grove of Ziz Valley, we will cross the city of Erfoud and we will arrive at Rissani, a small town with a bustling medina not frequented by tourists, where the nomads of the area come to supply. After a short visit to this medina, we will continue our journey until we finally reach Merzouga, a small settlement located on the reddish sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi, where the charming hotel is located, at the hotel you will welcome by a mint tea. After short time to relax, we will meet the dromedaries, much more adapted to the desert and with them we will go through the dunes, towards the camp, where we will spend the night, during the way don’t miss to take photos as a camel man/guide will help you to take some amazing pictures. Upon our arrival and after having a welcome tea, we will contemplate a sunset that you will never forget, either from the camp itself or from the top of the dunes. To end the day we will have another wonderful experience with a berber dinner in the heat of the bonfire with a berber music played by the desert Touareg, surrounded by an immense mantle of stars, a unique and indescribable experience, that you have to live..
DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI - MERZOUGA - OUARZAZATE ET LES KASBAHS - MARRAKECH
To be able to enjoy a unique experience, we will get up early to contemplate an incomparable show, the sunrise in the desert, a spectacle of light and silence that will impress you. After taking some unforgettable photos for the sunrise, we will go back again with the dromedaries to Merzouga where you will have breakfast and take a shower at the hotel.(If you choose luxury tour you will take breakfast and have breakfast at the camp), then leave merzouga, you may like to take some last pictures for the dunes and the village before driving back, direction of Zagora crossing some beautiful desert landscapes, until you reach the impressive palm grove of the Draa valley, the largest palm grove in Africa with more than 150 kilometers in length. At this point we will turn north towards Ouarzazate. Here we will stop for lunch before continue to Marrakech through Tichka Pass, the Berber villages and magnificent landscapes. Arrival at Marrakech and check-in to your accommodation.
